WADA Continues to Refuse Meaningful Reform

Athlete Groups and Anti-Doping-Leaders Join Forces to Call for Further Reforms of WADA
Athlete representatives from 14 countries join forces with 14 leading National Anti-Doping Organizations to collectively call on meaningful reform at the World Anti-Doping Agency. As individual organizations, we have repeatedly submitted formal proposals for change. Now we speak collectively to elevate our call for more independence, transparency, and accountability at WADA.
Athlete Groups Call on World Anti-Doping Agency to Implement Stronger Reforms
Independence, Transparency, Accountability and Human Rights Must Drive Change
Athletes can no longer accept that their demands for proper reforms of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) have not been addressed. Time after time, athletes’ calls for change have been cast aside or written off as misinformed, despite the fact that athletes are the primary stakeholders and by far the most impacted group when the status quo persists.
